I have been a nurse for over 25 years. My nursing experience includes oncology, homecare, nephrology, cardiology, OR, and prescreening anesthesia. Health education has always been a top priority to me as a nurse.
I have recently transitioned over to become a freelance health writer. I have written about chronic health conditions, health and wellness and provided health education to the public.
 

I have an abundance of health and nursing knowledge that I would love to share with the public by writing for health newsletters, blogs, social media posts, healthcare apps and or patient educational manuals. 

Why hire me? For starters, I am a nurse and who doesn't love nurses?! Nurses as a group, are the most trusted profession. (Nurse.org, 2024). As a nurse writer, I am able to include my own knowledge and expertise as a healthcare professional. How cool is that? I feel what I have to share is crucial for improving the health and wellness of the public. Additionally, I love writing and sharing my own nursing wisdom, and I feel I am pretty good at it too. 
 I have spent many years as a patient advocate and educator providing direct care to many patients and families. I plan to continue compassionately caring for and educating my patients as a freelance nurse writer. Patients always deserve and need the best care. Sharing evidence-based health education to the public is my primary goal as a nurse writer.
